Gainfully employed

I am now employed at West (the same company as M). My training starts next week (that's right, the week of Christmas), and lasts for 5 weeks. I get Christmas and New Year's off, but because training has to be 5 days/week, I have to work the Saturdays afterward, which is OK, because M has to work too. The main problem is that I will not be off the Wednesday before Christmas (Marcus will), so I either have to drive to his parents house Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Ugh. And, once I start my actual work schedule, we will have the same days off, but not the same work hours. I will be working 3:30-12:00 (training is 4-12:30), so we will have to figure out transportation, but at least I have a job now. My mom called me today to tell me about this get-your-teaching-certificate-online-if-you-already-have-a-bachelors-degree thing. Which sounds pretty good. Take a few classes online and be certified to teach? I think I could do that. And I wouldn't really mind teaching, it definately has nice work hours and good retirement. *sigh* Not the career I really wanted, but sometimes reality comes knocking.
