#1. My new US3 dpns. They are a lovely purple color (fav!) I wanted bamboo, because I just really like bamboo (in all its wonderful forms), but Hobby Lobby (the closest place to buy such things) had none, so I was forced to buy metal ones (I refuse to buy plastic) and when I found the size I needed, I'm sure I made some type of happy noise because PURPLE!!! (lurvs - srsly)
#2. The pretty yarn I got for my socks. It was very pretty all wrapped up, but now that I've knitted a swatch and can see the colors changing (its a striping yarn) it is even more beautiful.
#3. Susie!! (this is not a new development - she has just been especially cute and happy and cuddly today)
