Oh my Goodness!

I went to visit J and baby Z the other day. Goodness gracious is he a cutie! He slept most of the time, except when he woke up to eat, and the only time he cried is when they gave him a bath. I got to hold him (never really been around a 1 week old baby, let alone hold one!). I'm so happy for J and her hubs, but it makes me a little jealous. I guess my biological clock is trying to tell me something! Not that I don't have plenty of time (I'm a month younger than J) but it brings those feelings of wanting a baby to the forefront, when I normally keep them tucked away. And then I feel guilty for feeling jealous!
And damn my mind-reading husband. He always knows when something is wrong, and knew that seeing J's baby had caused it. He reminded me that he wants kids to, but we just aren't in a good place financially to have kids. And I know he's right, and now I feel bad for bringing up the subject (so to speak).

On another (happier?) note, we only have FOUR DAYS until we go to China!!!!!
I'm about 33% packed, just gotta finish doing laundry and get a few things from walmart. I have lists to make sure I don't forget anything, and checking things off helps me feel a littler calmer about the whole situation. We got our Chinese money, Renminbi Yuan, the other day. 9800 rnb equals approx $1500 US. The exchange rate is crazy! $1rnb = $0.16 US. So, one of their $100 bills is worth less than a $20 US bill!! And, it looks like monopoly money, lol:
